Play an integral role in assuring the quality and consistency of vocational education across Aotearoa New Zealand’s Construction and Specialist Trades sector. As part of a small, high‑performing team, this work will see you help shape a future‑ready workforce.

About the role

• Ensure programmes and assessment meet national standards and sector expectations.
• Strengthen quality, equity, and cultural responsiveness across qualifications and assessment practice.
• Work with providers, assessors, employers, and sector experts to support consistent, high‑quality delivery.

What you will do

• Review assessment materials and outcomes, producing clear and defensible reports.
• Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities across programmes and assessment practice.
• Support ‘system’ improvement through reflection, continuous development, and innovation.
• Build effective relationships with providers, assessors, employers, and industry bodies.
• Provide Assurance insights and expertise to support engagement and qualification development.

What you will bring

• Experience in vocational education and training, assessment, and moderation and quality assurance.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Well-developed written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in working with diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• An ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Competency with the MS Office Suite.
